Natural Law

Whoever would overthrow the liberty of a nation must begin by

subduing the freeness of speech.

Benjamin Franklin

Sound familiar?

Our history shows a catalogue of scenarios when obedience to 'authority' is instilled in the individual at an early age:

Do not question authority or anybody in uniform.

We are born a free, suverant [see below], living being with inalienable rights that is innately guided by Natural Law.

Natural Law is a body of unchanging moral principles regarded as a basis for all human conduct.

Everyone is equal under Natural Law; no-one is above the law.

Everyone has a responsibility to understand and act under Natural Law.

Do no harm

Cause no loss

Commit no fraud

Keep the peace

These are our moral obligations to one another.

What is Natural Law?

Natural Law is:

  • A body of principles that are considered to be inherent in nature and have universal application in determining whether human conduct is right, or wrong.
  • A system of law based on a close observation of human nature, and based on values intrinsic to human nature that can be deduced and applied independent of positive law (man-made law).
  • A body of law or a specific principle held to be derived from nature and binding upon human society in the absence of, or in addition to positive law.
  • A philosophical theory which states that humans have certain rights, moral values, and responsibilities that are inherent in human nature.  Natural law theory is based on the idea that natural laws are universal concepts and are not based on any culture or customs, but is the way people act naturally and inherently.  Still, it is a way society acts naturally and inherently as people

Natural laws exist because the universe has a Creator [God] who is logical and has imposed order on His universe (Genesis 1:1 )

Suverant/Sovereign

A Suverant or Sovereign is:

A status bestowed on every man or woman by virtue of their being born a boy or girl and of their compliance with the one true Universal Law: do no harm.

Originally known as ‘suveranty’. Legal suveranty cannot be asserted in statutory courts which only recognise status or standing in commerce under the legal person’s corporate fictional name.

Note: it is said that a true sovereign must have a castle and an army to protect their land, which may be why there is no such thing as legal sovereignty for the ordinary man or woman

As a member of the Community Assemblies of the British Isles, the Community Assembly of Crediton agree to their code of ethics:

“I am a living being of flesh and blood, heart and soul: I stand under Natural Law, shared by all, as the basis for rationality and ethical values where to do no harm is the only rule; I make a personal commitment, divinely inspired, where, all that is required, is that I cause no loss to another, nor commit any fraud and keep the peace as I journey through each beautiful day, unhindered and free."
